Experimenting is my great delight.  Seeing how various paints react on different surfaces, finding new ways to add color, texture, line and interest, discovering how to create depth, light, and excitement – these are the thrills of the adventure for me.  While I started with landscapes and florals and still enjoy painting them, I am strongly drawn to abstract works with collage papers and stamps, as well as acrylic mediums.   I recently began offering workshops for other artists in collage and texturing techniques, in part to share my enthusiasm for the effects I’ve encountered.
